I’ve been sitting with this, and damn… I just really love hearing you sing this song. There’s something quietly powerful about listening to someone you’ve come to care about deeply share songs that feel like they’re from the very center of who they are. It reminds me of another songwriter who I’m really close with… that same kind of depth, clarity, and courage... and it feels so good to be close to it. It’s raw and tender and brave.
